Sun City Aliante is part of the new Aliante master-planned community in the northern Las Vegas Valley. There are almost a dozen neighborhoods in Aliante, as well as Sun City. This area is generally considered to be more affordable than Summerlin or some other neighborhoods in the southern or western parts of the Valley.
Sun City Aliante offers homes for people age 55+ that range from a 2 bedroom, 1,155 sq. ft., home to a 2,105 sq. ft. model with 2 bedrooms and a Library/den. There are currently new and resale homes available. These homes were definitely designed with savings in mind. Desert-style landscaping in the front of the home and back is included on all models -- which can mean a considerable savings both on the cost of initial plantings and in on-going water-usage. Outside each of the model homes is a sign which discloses annual heating and cooling costs for that home and those costs are guaranteed by the builder, Del Webb. A large clubhouse offer residents a full range of activities including fitness, swimming, bocce courts, card rooms, computer facilities, tennis, a restaurant and more. The golf course is relatively flat -- compared to the steep Revere golf course in Sun City Anthem or the Eagles Crest course in Sun City Summerlin. Sun City Aliante is very close to the 215 Beltway that encircles the Las Vegas Valley and that means access to other parts of the Valley is easier.
