Sun City Anthem  

Sun City Anthem is part of  the upscale master-planned Anthem community in the hilly area of Henderson to the south of Las Vegas.  Also included in Anthem are the retirement communities of Anthem Country Club, Solera, and the new 50+ luxury condominiums of Terra Bella. The Coventry Homes neighborhood in Anthem is for people of all ages.  The original idea for Anthem was to include homes for a wide variety of ages -- not just for people in or approaching retirement -- so people could move from one neighborhood to the next throughout their lives as their needs changed and continue to live in Anthem.

The average age for people moving into the Sun City Anthem retirement community is actually around 58, according to the Del Webb Corporation.  And 40% of the residents work full time. Both new and resale homes are available for sale.

The steep Sun City Anthem's Revere golf course is rated the 3rd best in Las Vegas -- just behind 2 private courses.  An extraordinary Community Center, perched at the top of a hill, houses indoor and outdoor pools, sports courts, a wellness center, craft rooms, a billiard center, a computer club, the Trumpets restaurant and so much more.  The views of the entire Las Vegas Valley, including the bright lights of The Strip, and the spectacular Spring Mountains to the west are unparalleled.  

One interesting feature of Sun City Anthem is the close relationship with the St. Rose Dominican hospital Siena campus which is just down the hill.  Some outpatient medical care and testing is actually conducted in the Sun City community center.

Solera at Anthem
